Profile Statement
Do you feel far apart from your partner, when once you felt close? Do you live in constant conflict? As one of the top therapists chosen by the Washingtonian Magazine in 2009 & 2012 in couples and sex therapy, my goal to help couples restore their ruptured connection and feel close again. Partners learn to take responsibility to grow and change in their relationship. Appreciation, love, passion and sexuality are rekindled. Our group practice, Guttman and Pearl Associates, offers individual therapy for depression, anxiety and self esteem issues, as an adjunct to couples therapy, when needed. Additionally, I offer clinical consultation to other therapists in Imago therapy and sex therapy through individual and group sessions. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I received my Masters in Social Work from Washington University. In addition to being a Certified Imago Relationship Therapist and Imago Consultant, I am a Certified Sex Therapist and Sex Therapy Supervisor (by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists).
