Description
Unconscious interactive dynamics run almost completely on autopilot in close relationships and control most interactions between partners. Bypassing the prefrontal cortex, they override insights learned in therapy. After a few days, Mr. Hyde will not remember what Dr. Jekyll learned in therapy. This course outlines three major dynamics: demand-withdrawal, pursuer-distancer, fear-shame. It shows how to teach clients to blame the dynamic and not each other, and to work together as a team to disable their dynamic.
