A one-day training as in which Hedy Schleifer describes the concept of Generative Presencing based on the Organizational Development author Otto Scharmer’s Theory U. She will develop the idea of the "emergent future" based on the concept that each one of us is not just one self but two. We are each our current self, which is a result of our entire journey of the past. And we are also our emerging future self, which encompasses the future possibilities to be actualized. When, as a couple, we are giving each other Generative Presencing, these two selves begin to listen to each other. And as a result we can step out of the relational reactive “Survival Dance” and step into the intentional dance of "Life in Connection." Hedy will do live demonstrations of how, when she guides couples over the Bridge, she teaches them the art of Generative Listening and Generative Speaking, and how she encourages couples to grow their Generative Presencing muscle. Hedy will also demonstrate how she guides couples down to the bottom of the “U" and then back up the “U” on the other side, so that their present and future selves can begin to listen to each other in the service of their essence-to-essence connection.
