Presenter: Maya Kollman, MA
Maya Kollman, MA will address the belief in our culture that in order for a relationship to improve, both people must be invested in doing the work to get there. How many times have you hears, 'I'm already doing more than my fair share, and how you're asking me to give even more. Besides he/she is the one who has been a jerk. The problem with this attitude is it leaves you helpless and feeling victimized. What if you made a decision to be the best person you could be for the relationship? What if you were able to be a person you are proud of, no matter how your partner is behaving? We will explore in this workshop ways to shift the relational dynamic when only one person is willing to give it their all. Help people stop playing the blame game and get empowered to have a positive impact. And in your own life, explore what stops you from becoming the person you are meant to be.
