Intimacy from the Inside Out (IFIO), the application of IFS to couple's therapy is an experiential, right-brain-left-brain approach that helps people make sense of their life experience in a safe and collaborative way.  It is a simple but powerful psycho-spiritual model with applications for work with individuals, couples, and systems of all sizes.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Toni will describe and demonstrate the Intimacy from the Inside Out model of Couple's therapy where the therapist invites exploration of each partner's individual inner life.
  • How to support couples in envisioning a lively dance that includes communicating well, repairing inevitable rupture, making room for the needs of both individuals as well as the needs of the relationship.
  • Using lecture, experience, and video demonstration, Toni will give participants the opportunity to learn and witness the model first hand.

This workshop will focus on the application of IFIO as an effective tool for helping couples.
